Everyone wants their child to have Ms. LeBlanc as their kindergarten teacher. So many of her parents were once students in her class. They know a treasure when they see one.

We are all grateful to Ms. LeBlanc. She makes being a Crusader very special.   

Ms. Malisssa has taught for eight years, seven of whom are at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic School.  This year she is the 2nd-grade teacher.  The primary grades are her favorite, but as a talented teacher, she excels wherever she is called to serve.  

Ms. Melissa uses her dramatic skills to create an animated and motivational classroom.  She is a lover of the fine arts, complementing her career as an educator.  Active learning and student engagement methods bring about success in student achievement.  

Our Crusader family is a special place to be because Ms. Malissa brings all her gifts and talents to our school.  Her love for teaching children is evident because of her big heart for all those who enter her classroom.  

Ms. Leslie Clanton motivates her students to do amazing work in her middle school English and Reading classes. As a master teacher, Ms. Clanton brings a standard of excellence that is the hallmark of Catholic Education. A product of Catholic education, Ursuline Academy, Catholic identity is never in short supply. She has served most of her career in Catholic education, here in the Archdiocese of New Orleans and in Memphis, where she raised her family. She brings her gift of leadership to our school as an experienced administrator. On spiritual awakening, Ms. Clanton is also a published novelist; I Am I Rise. Her extraordinary gifts make our Crusader family a very special place to be.  

As our AOL 1st grade teacher, Ms. Sue Miller is an award-winning master teacher. She came to us from John L. Ory Primary School, where she has taught for the past 27 years. Ms. Miller is a faith-filled educator and an alumnus of St. Charles Catholic High School. Welcome, Ms. Miller, to our Crusader Family.
