The AOL Catholic School PTO is on the move. Parents and teachers planned and hosted our 2021 Trunk or Treat. Thank you to all the parents and teachers that gave their time to create a fun and safe time for our students as we continue to recover from Hurricane Ida.
Thank you to our students that dressed up as their favorite saints for our ALL Saints Day Mass. They were introduced during the sermon and told all gathered important things that they did. Mary, Francis of Assisi, Moses, Joan of Ace, and Katherine Drexel were some of the saints represented. After, Fr. Walter told the story of St. Francis and the Wolf. He reminded us that in order for the wolves in our lives to be friendly and our protector we must not fear the wolf, we must feed and care for them.
A group from Chicago decided to come to AOL Catholic School during their trip to New Orleans. Therese Vergados, Renee Graber, Kandy Gore, and Theresa Rooney came on Sept. 23 & 24 to assist our teachers and staff during our transition back to school after Hurricane Ida. They lifted the spirits of students, teachers, and staff. Thank you for being our Guardian Angels during our time of need.
