GRADE 1- Mrs. Miller has this to say about her chosen recipient. This student is a kind and loving student. Mrs. Miller considers this student one of the leaders in the classroom. He expresses leadership qualities by his kindness, attentiveness, and knowledge. This student also expresses his leadership with his faith by singing and participating in class and during Mass. He will help out others when someone needs help or assistance. He has a way of putting a smile on your face through his caring and loving actions. It is an honor for Mrs. Miller to give this special award to this student. The Christian Citizenship award for the 1st quarter for 1st grade is Jaythan Gaudet.
GRADE 2- Ms. Malissa says these encouraging words about 2nd grade’s recipient. This student is someone who sets a daily example of how to be helpful, kind, and caring. This student is always there with a friendly smile, willing to help their classmates and teachers. This student has a calming presence and a quiet demeanor that is a strength. We are blessed to have this student as a member of our 2nd grade family. The 2nd grade Christian Citizenship Award recipient for the 1st quarter is Charlee Petit.
GRADE 3- Ms. Geronimo has these wonderful things to say about her chosen recipient. This student is always the first to help everyone, even when no one is looking. This student quietly and without any suggestion or recognition welcomed several new students to the school this year, even Ms. Geronimo as the new teacher! This student has even made our new Crusaders feel like they’ve always belonged here at AOL. Everyone knows this student is sweet and smart, but she’s also the best utility-girl a new teacher, that is still figuring out everything, could ask for. The person to receive the 1st quarter Chirstian Citizenship Award in 3rd grade is Caira Perrilloux.
GRADE 4- Mrs. Gaby nominates this student because this student is always helping in the classroom. This student helps the teacher and classmates asking if there is something that is needed. This student always wants to participate and is always happy. This student is very polite and the behavior she portrays is the best! The Christian Citizenship award for the 1st quarter in the 4th grade goes to Ariel Newman.
GRADE 5- Mrs. Hanson has these kind words to share about her chosen recipient. This student is amazing to have in class and always goes above and beyond to help make her classmates and teacher’s day easier. This student jumps to the occasion to help without questioning. She makes sure the class is clean every evening and makes certain all students have their Chromebooks in the morning. This student brings a light to the class that is much needed and always appreciated. The recipient for the 1st quarter’s Christian Citizenship award for 5th grade goes to Amari Bienemy.
GRADE 6- Ms. Clanton has these kind words to say about her chosen recipient. This student is warm and welcoming to everyone. This student includes everyone and excludes no one. Her emotional intelligence is extremely high. Her innocence allows her to love everyone. This student is definitely deserving of this award. The 6th grade recipient for the 1st quarter Christian Citizenship award is Aubrey Melancon.
GRADE 7- Ms. Escobar says these words about the student she chose for her homeroom’s recipient. This student is always willing to help, even before they have helped themselves. This student is always making sure other students’ folders are in place, their papers are stapled, and their papers are picked up. She does all of this before her own stuff is turned in or picked up off the floor! This student is always cheering for everyone else. Her smile in the morning and throughout the day is contagious. This student is unique and beats to the sound of her own drum which a lot of us can learn from. Her confidence is something in and out of the classroom has grown over the years and Ms. Escobar has loved being a part of it. From picking up and cleaning the classroom, to helping Ms. Escobar stay organized (because she can’t organize herself), to making sure Ms. Escobar has water, to the big hugs this student always gives, this girl deserves to celebrate herself. Keep smiling, keep shining, keep pushing yourself, because you can do anything you put your mind to. We can’t wait to continue to see what this year has in store for this student.
