Caitlin Geronimo is originally from the Midwest and has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Cleveland State University with minors in Anthropology, Religious Studies, and Native American Studies. Her favorite author is Gabriel Garcia Marquez; she hopes to instill a true and lifelong love of reading in her students as well. Caitlin's post baccalaureate studies were primarily translation and culture based, including independent translations of New Testament Greek and Classic Maya hieroglyphs. She is currently teaching 3rd and 4th grade ELA/social studies and 5th grade ELA. This is her first year teaching in an official classroom but has worked in writing workshops and reading comprehension programs since 2008. Her favorite thing about teaching is the excitement and pride in new readers when they finish a good book and the everyday stories of her 3rd grade homeroom class.
